Huawei Watch 4 series was launched in May with two models. The basic Watch 4 comes in Black with a fluoroelastomer strap, while the Pro is with a titanium alloy case and two choices of straps - leather or titanium.
We received the all-Titanium option for a review, and it arrived with promises for more functional widgets and long battery life.

Huawei has been using the same design for the retail box since the first Watch GT in 2018. The Watch 4 Pro comes in a classic box, accompanied by extra elements for the strap, a magnetic wireless charger and some warranty-related papers.
The Watch 4 Pro is incredibly beautiful with a curved dome-like 1.5” LTPO AMOLED screen with 466 x 466 pixel resolution. It does have a bezel around the display, while the strap has a new design that looks and feels better than any other smartwatch by Huawei, even the almighty Watch Ultimate.

One big change in the Watch 4 series is the Harmony 3.0 with its redesigned widgets. The default watch face has the planet Earth, centered at your location, but we went with a more complicated solution. Now we can see heart rate, sleep results, and weather forecast in a refined way that is easier to understand at a glance.
Some key features of the Huawei Watch 4 Pro are eSIM and standalone GPS. The duo of buttons on the right side works just as expected - the top is rotating for easier navigation, and the bottom is metallic and conductive enable ECG recording.

Huawei priced the Watch 4 Pro at €700/£600, which means it's among the most expensive smartwatches out there. It's understandable, given the premium build, choice of materials and rich feature set. You also get a promise of ultra-long battery life that is supposed to provide 21 days on a single charge.
We will do our extensive tests to determine whether the price is worth it, so stay around!
